This site was born on August 23, 2009.
I created this website after losing my grandfather and realizing that a lot of history of my family was lost with him. So now I am being proactive and researching all that I can about my family and contacting all the family I can in order to learn my history. If I don't do it, who will? So it is Go-time for me, and hopefully it is Go-time for you to start thinking about all of this and wanting to follow my lead. Your past is not getting any younger and the longer you wait, the more family history you lose.
Mission:
This site has one purpose and that is for families to have a site they can go to and keep track of their family tree! As time flies by, so does everyones lives and their tales. When my Grandpa passed away this year (2009) I realized that an incredible man had moved on and took with him so many stories. I have a lot of pictures and documents of him and now I realize the importance of them. Now I have a place I can put all of this information for the whole family to see easily.
But my quest did not stop there. When I looked up his father (my Great Grandfather), I knew NOTHING. I have a couple of pictures of him but that is it. So the search is on. Before too much time passes by, I will find out about my families history and during the journey, I will find out a lot about my extended family and their extended families. So many people in this world and I have no idea how many of them have my blood in them as well!
